Charlene (aka Cher), a Bay Area singer-songwriter and playwright, has always believed in the transformative power of music and storytelling. Born from her own journey reconnecting with her heritage, SOL explores the tensions between island life and American culture, the scars and strengths of immigration, and the universal struggle to heal family wounds.
